People seem to like the travel slideshows and to be honest, I quite like making them, so I will do one a week until I have caught up on all my previous travels from which I have photos.

This also gives me a chance to wander down memory lane ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™m going to start from as far back as I have documented while keeping photos from the same place together even if I have been there multiple times.

This post starts in 2005 and goes up until recent years because it is actually from my state, Western Australia.

1 Rodadero

Iโ€™ve seen a lot of sunsets from all over the world, but I honestly believe the best are from Western Australia. Fine, I have a little bias since it is my home state, but look at this.It is a poor-quality photo on a very old phone, like back when they first put cameras on phones, and it still looks pretty good.

I actually donโ€™t think it is that great but itโ€™s an outdoor activity close to town.

2 Taganga

When I studied Outdoor Leadership in TAFE back in the early 2000s, one of the excursions was a 4-day hike through the Stirling Ranges. Here we are looking towards the end point, Bluff Knoll, off which we also abseiled. It is a 4-day hike in total.

3 Sunset

Also for TAFE, we rappelled off the sea cliffs in a place called Wilyabrup. Probably the most visually appealing place I have ever abseiled.

4 Tayrona

This beach is from the longest hike I have ever done, and also one of the best - the Bibbulmun Track. It took a friend and I 7 weeks to complete it back in 2008. There was some amazing terrain along this hike. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys long distance hiking.

4 Tayrona

This is either from the top of the Gloucester Tree or the Millennial Tree. Both are from around the same area in South Western Australia and I think were originally fire posts.

The Gloucester Tree is a 61-meter-tall karri tree.

4 Tayrona

An amazing mural painted on the Wellington Dam near where my mum lives in South Western Australia.
